We’re still alive and chugging slowly onwards. Summer seems to have sapped the forward momentum we had built up. I’d like to say it’s because we’ve been off having exciting adventures, but I think getting easily distracted is just one of the standard perils of summertime. Or possibly just one of the standard perils of being us.

We continue onwards, however. We’re not dead (yet).

After all this time we finally get a proper look at the dragon.

Do you think it will be happy it has guests?

A little later than our usual schedule (we have a schedule?!) but here we go!

Back in the present after the little flashback, and our cast of characters is sorely depleted. They’ve not even seen the dragon yet. It’s probably not worth giving them a cool team name, but if we did, it would almost certainly be “Team Scar Chest”

The weekend is upon us, and it has once again brought with it the cursed Sun, searing all with it’s devilish heat. This time, however, it has new allies.

The plants, their pollen soaked weaponry raised and ready in service of the hated Sun King, rise up. Their attacks strike hard at my eyes and nose, but I will not falter. I will continue on my ill-defined quest, my journey for the indistinct.

Welcome back!

First off, thanks to everyone who’s been following us and leaving comments! We read them all, and they warm our bitter hearts, if only for a moment. Then we throw another orphan onto the fireplace and get back to thinking about, like, dragons or something, I guess.

So, here we go with the start of chapter 2. There were quite a few deaths in chapter one. Let’s see if we can kill off even more in chapter 2! We’ll probably have to start killing off characters not even in our comic…

Not dead, just sleeping

So, apologies for the lack of updates around here lately. Real life has been getting in the way a little. Don’t worry though! We’re only a couple of pages away from the end of chapter 1, and we hope to kick into a much more regular update schedule soon. Hold on tight, we’re not going anywhere!
